Fisheye has quickly become a premiere resource for photography education. According to Kristy Dickerson, Founder and COO, “Fisheye has always been about connecting photographers with workshops and training. Recently, the addition of our OnDemand content has given our instructors the ability to deliver dynamic and relevant content to students who don’t have the time or budget to attend a live workshop.”

With over 800 instructors, Fisheye Connect has currently sold over 30,000 tickets and has a user base of over 35,000 users.

Current instructors include, The Brooks Institute, Justin and Mary Marantz, Rob Adams, Vanessa Joy, Joe Diamaggio, PhotoShopCafe, Sal & Taylor Cincotta and many many more.

According to CEO Sal Cincotta, “The Fisheye Connect and OnDemand engine provide the perfect complement to Behind the Shutter and Shutter Magazine, a training site and free magazine to over 77,000 photographers world wide. This allows us to offer our readership access to powerful OnDemand content.”

Today, photographers are being pulled in many directions. They have to be entrepreneurs, photographers, accountants, parents, and a host of other job titles. Somewhere in there, they need to invest in their education. Sometimes, it’s just not practical to sit in front of your computer 8 hours a day for 3-5 days. This is what makes our OnDemand engine so powerful – photographers have access to training when they want it, how they want it. Offering photographers access to concise and high-quality education is something we know will separate Fisheye from other training and workshop sites.

Offering access to both live workshops and on demand training, Fisheye Connect will become the source for photography training and workshops worldwide.”
